Kenya exports about 95% of its coffee, with Europe as the dominant buyer and Gulf markets providing new high-value demand. Roasted-coffee exports remain small but continue to achieve higher unit prices, supporting efforts to widen value addition at origin.<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-8\">\n<div class=\"jeg_ad jeg_ad_module jnews_content_inline_ads\" data-section=\"jnews_content_inline_ads\" data-size=\"300x250\" data-pos=\"0\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"text-muted-background dark:text-neutral-300 leading-relaxed text-sm lg:text-base mb-4 last:mb-0 \">International futures have remained elevated, supported by tighter global stocks and weather-driven supply shortfalls in major origins, helping sustain the shift in Kenya\u2019s pricing environment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-muted-background dark:text-neutral-300 leading-relaxed text-sm lg:text-base mb-4 last:mb-0 \">Structural reforms have also reshaped the market. Oversight of the Nairobi Coffee Exchange has been placed under the Capital Markets Authority, while the Direct Settlement System now routes auction proceeds straight to farmer accounts to improve transparency and payouts.
